Yesterday we saw in 2 Corinthians 2, there is nothing more that the enemy wants to do than to rip relationships apart. At the same time, there is nothing more pleasing to God than our being agents of restoring broken relationships. After all, that is exactly why Jesus came. When we make this a priority of our daily interaction with people, it is a wonderful fragrance to God. So here is my prayer for each of us.
Heavenly Father, may we always be aware in the Spirit, of the devices that the enemy uses to tear apart those created in Your image. Create in us the burning desire to see people restored in their relationship with You and with one another. Let us be willing to sacrifice in prayer and intercession for those in need of restoration. Lord, keep our eyes and ears open to those who are broken. May the price Jesus paid for our reconciliation remain in the forefront of all our relationships. Make us triumphant in this endeavor and may our actions bring great pleasure to Your heart. It is through the redeeming blood and in the mighty Name of Jesus we come. Amen and Amen.
