Dear CCV Family
What do you do when you don’t know what to do? All of us face that question from time to time. I believe that answer is fairly simple. First, we go into the secret place and inquire of the Lord. Secondly, we stand firm on His word. Thirdly, we seek godly counsel from those who know more than we do, on the particular situation.
Roz and I have been doing just that in our current physical affliction. We have the peace that passes all understanding in Christ Jesus and we are not anxious. Phil. 4. It is also our intent to not allow our hearts to be troubled, nor to be afraid. John 14:27
Because many of you are praying and asking questions, here is what we know and do not know. We have flu like symptoms. We feel like this morning we have turned a corner. Just writing this is an indication of that. Johnny and Roxanne Curbo left here a little over a week ago with their daughter and son-in-law. All four of them have been dealing with the similar symptoms back in Texas. Could this be Covid? Possible. If so, it is a mild case and we have not come close to the emergency protocols of going to the doctor or the hospital. We are taking medication and a variety of immune boosters that the CCV family left on our front porch and then let us know that it was there. We love our CCV family.
In order to be safe and not infect anyone else, we are quarantined and will remain so until it is safe for us to return. It is really difficult to be out of church like this. A very big thank you for all of your kindness, prayers and support. We feel your prayers mightily. A very special thanks to all of our leaders for stepping up to the plate in our absence. We look forward to being back with our church family.
