Sunday, October 13th until Sunday, October 20th is the Feast of Tabernacles. It is a celebration of the fall harvest, a type of Thanksgiving Day for the Jews. It was a time of remembering how the Lord provided for them while they wandered in the wilderness. While we have been on this Daniel Fast, we have gone through several of the Holy Days of the Hebrew Calendar, starting with the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and now the Feast of Tabernacles. Each of those feasts foreshadow Christ in some way that would take too long to mention. But the Feast of Tabernacles is significant because it speaks of the End Time promise of God dwelling with man forever.

Revelation 21:3-4, ” 3) And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4) And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away’,”

Praise God that we have been given such great and precious promises in Christ Jesus. I hope you have been enriched in body, soul and spirit during this time of prayer and fasting and have found a deeper walk with Jesus. It is yet to be seen all that has been accomplished in this time of corporate humbling of ourselves before the Lord. We can expect great things in the future of this body of believers through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
