From Pastor Steve’s Study
Nothing is more important to me as your pastor than to know that you are being nourished in God’s Word. That has certainly taken place these past two weeks in my absence. I have listened to both messages and I have been encouraged. Last week Harold Thomas challenged us in serving with the right heart. Yesterday, Pastor Lee Fox exhorted us to run with patience the race that is set before us. I trust these are still making an impact in your life because the Word of God never returns to Him void.
Thank you for all of your cards, texts, calls and words of encouragement. The plan is for me to be back with you next Sunday. My process of recovery has been significant on many levels. As usual, it has been most important in God revealing new inspiration in His Word and deeper levels of His grace. I long to be back in the saddle to share more of God’s love and goodness with you. You are beloved in His sight and in mine.
