One of the great promises Jesus gave us is John 14:13-14. He then repeats it in John 16:23-24. “Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
Coming out of our study we see that the authority in His Name is much more than just resisting and casting out evil spirits. He has given us authority in His Name to come to the Father to ask and receive. We have been given the authority to stand against the enemy and become free from our strongholds, in Jesus’ Name. Coming to the Father in Jesus’ Name will also bring us fullness of joy. May we come more readily to the Father, in the Name of Jesus, to receive His deliverance and fullness. Living like this will enable us to deal with the enemy far less often.
