It is hard to wrap my mind around the fact that next Sunday … September arrives. For those of us here, we look forward to cooler temperatures. But we also look forward to the return of many of you who have been away for various lengths of time. We have missed you and hope you look as forward to your return as we do.
It has been a blessed summer. We have numerous new folks who have joined us and become an active part of our church body. We have had wonderful services with the powerful presence of the Spirit and lives being transformed. We have several new important roles that people have stepped into. We have a new administrative assistant in Connie Ader. Robin Woods is now our worship leader as Tom Setser continues to serve as music director. Paul Caucci was ordained as a new elder yesterday. These are just a few of CCV’s growth developments.
All of these give us great expectation as we move from glory to glory in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 3:18) There are several new adjustments coming in the fall and some very important, challenging and wonderful opportunities before us. So get ready to see God simply be Himself among us.
