This is a very expectant and joyous time in the life of CCV.  God is doing wonderful things.  Those of you who will be returning soon after being away will be blessed and surprised at our spirit and growth.  In the coming weeks there will be the presentation of new opportunities of involvement and we will be faced with some very important decisions.  All of these will be communicated to you as soon as we are able to do so.  It is a time of intense prayer and intercession.

In order to facilitate that prayer, we are calling for the church to join together for a Daniel fast, which will begin on September 30.  This also marks the sacred Jewish celebration of Rosh Hashanah, their new year.  The fast will be for 21 days and run through October 20.  It is a fast that consists of avoiding meat, sweets, caffeine and dairy.  But it also is a healthy one in which vegetables, fruit and whole grains are eaten. We will be giving more details in the next two weeks, along with a description of the fast.  This is a wonderful opportunity for us to join together into this very special time of fasting and prayer. [Matthew 6:6,16-18]  God has many new blessings for us in the coming year.  Please prayerfully consider your involvement with us.

Paul Caucci will be sending out updates for prayer through our intercessory prayer ministry.  If you would like to be on that prayer list, please let him know.  His email is pscaucci@gmail.com
