Next Sunday we will be challenged as we continue our Study in John 3.  See if you can find the challenges in the rest of this chapter!

In four different verses we are confronted with the importance of  “believing in Jesus.”  Our initial salvation begins with belief.  Then, ever growing in relationship with Jesus enlarges our faith in practical ways. The Holy Spirit is our ever-present help reminding us in the every-day-ness of life … that we are in the center of Christ Jesus and He is in the center of us and all that concerns us. “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”  Psalm 138:8 NKJV

In the coming weeks and months, be ready to see God work in new ways in us, through us and for us.  After the service, we will be having a short meeting led by our Finance and Property Teams, under the direction of the Holy Spirit.  We will be challenged to take steps of faith individually as well as a church body.  Please spend some time this week preparing your heart in prayer for the message and for the meeting.  The mindset of the CCV Leadership is that the church belongs to Christ, Who is the Head and, therefore, we want to follow Him in everything He desires for His Body and its healthy exponential growth … for His Honor, His Glory and His Delight!
