September has begun in a literal whirlwind called Dorian. It is an important month for various reasons. Therefore, let me give you some things to pray about as that is the most important ministry we have…..to connect with God and get in on His plans for us.
- Remember those who are in the track of Dorian. Regardless of its final path, a Cat 5 is deadly and destructive.
- Pray for God’s favor on us and the Wildwood Country Resort with the Sumter County Planning board that will make its decision on the extension of Buena Vista Blvd. It will have everything to do with how long we are able to remain in our present facility.
- This month we will be emphasizing the development of our present and new small groups.
- God is doing a great and mighty work in our church body. To see what He has for us requires two things. First is that all of us make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Eph. 4:3) The second is that we have a broken and contrite spirit so that our hearts are pliable and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
- Pray for our property team and elders as crucial decisions will soon need to be made concerning our future.
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Have a blessed week in your ‘secret place’ … being alone with the Lord.
